School Safety Plan

The safety and well-being of our students and staff is a top priority in the Sulphur Springs Union School District. Each school maintains a comprehensive School Safety Plan that outlines procedures and protocols designed to help keep our school community safe and prepared for a variety of emergencies.

School Safety Plans are reviewed and updated annually in collaboration with school staff, local first responders, and other community partners. Plans address emergency preparedness, evacuation and shelter procedures, communication, student reunification, and other safety measures. Schools also regularly conduct drills and training to ensure students and staff are familiar with appropriate emergency procedures.
